Meeting Minutes July 30, 2009

Bob told us that Easton is feeling a little bit better and Marian gave us a card to sign so that we can send to him.
We have a update on Grub Crawl. We got a profit of $1238 last year and with matching fund, we were able to buy 2 shelter boxes last year. The Grub Crawl committee this year is going to have a meeting after the club meeting to finalize some of the details.
Marian is going to bring in the District Simplified Grant form for the next meeting for us to apply for another Simplified Grant.
Steve said that he met with Judy regarding posting on Facebook for Rotary District 6380.
We also discuss some of details for the following events:
Sept. 10 - we will deliver fruit basket to the WB Fire station after the club meeting. John also has a statue of the fireman that he is going to put in either the Orchard Lake Mall, WB Library or Henry Ford Hospital.
John Keeler is in charge of the Carnation Sale in October, it will be a three day sale from Monday to Wednesday.
Nov 8 - Holiday party hosted by Joan Bussell. Family members and significant others are welcome. We need to bring a dish to pass and we will have a raffle also. Stay tune for details in coming meetings.
Max and Erma's Day - we will have our meeting there at lunch (date to be determined later). It is going to be a fund raising with a special speaker - Diane Bussalin
Shelly will be in charge of the Pennies for Polio project, starting with the Scott Elementary school.
Joan Bussell will be in charge of the Thanksgiving Food Gift Baskets for the needed family
