Youth Exchange Student - our exchange student, Jorge has arrived and
settled in with his host parents. He is registered at the West
Bloomfield High School and joined the tennis team. Tony's son - Alex is
leaving for Madrid on 9/7 as an exchange student for 9 - 11 months.
Grub Crawl -
The West Bloomfield Rotary/Chamber of Commerce Grub Crawl is on 9/15. Club members should be spreading the word about this event and the money raised are used for WB Rotary programs - Shelter Box, Strive and Peace programs, as well as Chamber business advocacy and growth programs. Tickets are now available for sale at $40. You can contact Shelly (248) 737-0266 or get the tickets from West Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce (248) 626-3636. The list of participating restaurants are:

Royer Cram of Royal Oak Rotary Club - Roger Cram of Hiram College in Ohio and a presentor at the most recent District Conference in Frankenmuth will be speaking at the Royal Oak Rotary Club on Tuesday, 9/1 on Peace Heros.
Wine Tasting -
The Clarkston Rotary Club is having a Fall Wine Tasting on 11/5 at the Bordine Nursery in Clarkston.
The Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Wine Tasting event at the Plum Market of West Bloomfield in November also.
