The 7th annual Putt for Polio Fundraiser and Tourney was held at WB High School on March 1, 2026
All funds received were sent to Rotary International so they may continue their fight to eradicate polio. Rotary and their partners have reduced new cases of polio over 99% since 1988 though as of February, 2026 there were 28 new cases of Polio in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The fight continues.
Participants competed in a putting contest to
win a trophy with their name engraved on it, which they can keep until next years event. The grand prize winner was Mr. Lonnie Elswick.
