Heidi Olson's personal journey serves as a profound inspiration for her professional path. Through accomplishing and maintaining a 90 pound weight loss, she has developed the skills to sucesssfully rewrite her own story. Heidi is on a journey to become and live unapologetically as her most authentic self. This personal triumph fuels her passion to illuminate the path for others seeking genuine and lasting transformation.
Over the last four years she has been a dedicated weight loss and self-development coach. She has expanded her practice to include Certified Life Coach and Mindfulness Coach as well. With her experience, she is guiding individuals through the landscape of personal growth and evolution.
In her role as a Mindfulness Coach, she helps her clients develop a more positive mindset and awaken their potential for change. Her mission is to assist others in crafting their own stories of empowerment, resilience, and fulfillment by providing them with the tools necessary to continue their progression over their lifetime.
Beyond coaching, Heidi is also a motivational speaker. She shares insights on the transformative power of mindfulness and the journey to self-discovery. Her authenticity, coupled with practical wisdom, resonates with audiences inspiring them to embrace their own potential for change. She believes that by making improvements in our own lives, we can cause a ripple effect which gives others the space and permission to begin to make positive adjustments in their lives as well.

Simon Mourani serves as Associate Program Manager in Community Affairs for DTE.
Simon is responsible for community outreach in Oakland County including the cities of Ferndale, Madison Heights, Oak Park, Royal Oak, West Bloomfield, and Waterford. He actively engages with community leaders and organizations, serving as a valuable resource by sharing information about DTE programs and services. Additionally, Simon collects valuable customer feedback through personal interactions, ensuring that the community's needs and concerns are heard and addressed. His goal is to enhance DTE's presence in the community, with the aim of strengthening customer engagement and educating the community on DTE programs related to Energy Safety, Energy Efficiency, Payment Programs, and Energy Assistance.
Staci Goldmen will be talking about bone health and aging, muscle mass as we age and whole foods. She will have some hand out information.
NOLIA LLOYD, LLP, CAADC, CCDVC, CCFC is a Master Licensed Psychologist with Ascension Medical Group, working in an Integrated Health setting. She is certified in Substance Abuse (CAADC), Domestic Violence (CCDVC), and Forensics (CCFC). Ms. Lloyd is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and other schools of psychology. Her specialties include Trauma, PTSD, Compassion Fatigue, Anxiety/Panic, Depression, Grief, and ADD/ADHD. Ms. Lloyd provides behavioral health therapy, assessment, diagnosis, and education to patients of all ages in a holistic manner; mentally, behavioral, physically, and spiritually, in a safe, reassuring, and non-judgmental environment. She has extensive experience working with essential workers, adolescents, children/parents, and adults.
Ms. Lloyd’s goal is to assist individuals in strengthening their coping skills and adapting essential techniques helpful in leading an overall healthy life. Aside from work, Ms. Lloyd enjoys family, gardening, and is active in the conservation of animals, birds, and pollinating insects.
Kristina Schofer grew up in the small retired farming community of Davisburg, MI. Her best friend was her grandfather “Big Al”. Al was a proud Rotarian in the Davisburg club. He brought her along to all the fundraisers, service projects, and even encouraged her to scare some “big kids” at the haunted house that the club hosted. He instilled the mindset of "you give what you can to your community" and she has been fulfilling that passionately through The Rotary Club of Novi, MI and now the 6380 District Team, chairing RYLA, the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards.
Kristina was home schooled, attended RYLA as a high school student, and then went on to receive an Associate degree from Oakland Community College focused on Criminal Justice, and a BA in Psychology from The University of Michigan-Dearborn.
She joined the Novi club in 2018 after being introduced to some of the members while helping chaperone at RYLA.
When she isn’t fundraising, chairing the Compassion Committee, organizing fellowships, or out on a club service project, she is a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones in Novi. She enjoys spending time with her partner Tim and puppy Mia in FL, going on park walks with her camera, and cooking.
Her personal mission in life is to encourage, educate, and support those seeking growth as an individual through leadership, service, commitment, and trust.
Today, she is bringing her passion for the Future of Rotary through the RYLA program.

The 2024 winner was Doug Ruby. The 2023 winner was Dr. Henry Maicki.
The money raised for this amazing cause helped reach the total amount that the club is responsible for and it was sent to Rotary International to serve the need to help eradicate polio.
Polio is close to being eradicated in the world but not quite yet. Since 1988 Rotary International and its partners have been responsible for the tremendous progress in eradicating Polio.

Peace Poles are internationally-recognized symbols of hope for the human family,
standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth. The message, “May Peace Prevail on
Earth,” is printed in multiple languages common to the area, and remind us to think,
speak, and act in the spirit of peace and harmony.
Pole languages are English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Chaldean, and Hebrew. We would have liked to include many other languages as well, so future peace poles may be coming.

Lee Jaffke has been a member of the West Bloomfield Club for 50 years!
He has always been passionate about any endeavor he has been involved in. He is tireless, confident, decisive and strategic. His primary goal in Rotary is ‘service above self’. His low-key demeanor in undertaking countless volunteer initiatives is in sharp contrast to the impact that he has had on the West Bloomfield community. His goal is a selfless, good-hearted contribution to the community he supports.
Lee Jaffke is the quiet champion of the community. Dedicated, reliable, and dependable, he is always there, no matter what the cause or event. He is a constant community cheerleader and a dependable contributor to any organization (of which there are many) that he supports. He has cleaned up the roads on Saturday mornings, served pancakes to the community, volunteered at the Haven in Pontiac, and promoted education and Food Security programs such as Blessings in a Backpack, Meals on Wheels, and helps deliver meals on Thanksgiving through the Team Turkey project.
